Merced, CA (August 1, 2023) – We’re thrilled to announce that Leonard and Robin Gamberg are the lucky winners of our latest Boat on the 4th of July Salute to Service Promotion. We’re so excited for them and can’t wait for them to receive their prize package.
Leonard, who is a veteran himself, recently purchased an Fi23 from Upstate Marine North Carolina. This is their third Centurion. Their first one was a 2007 SV216 and then had a 2013 Avalanche prior to purchasing their Fi23. Leonard and his family love the Centurion brand and the quality of the boats. Another major factor in choosing Centurion is the reputation of Upstate Marine and the support after the sale.
Before they decided to buy their first Centurion in 2007 they visited the factory in North Carolina. They were very impressed with the employees and the quality of the build. The Gamberg family is most excited to try wake foiling because it looks like a lot of fun.
Leonard stated he loves spending family time on the lake. All three of their kids and now grandson have grown up on the water and in a Centurion. Their favorite thing to do is to hit the lake at sunset for a nice sunset surf session.
After talking to Leonard and getting to know him better while asking a few questions he said “My first take on the email congratulating me that I won was that I was being scammed. I really didn’t believe it was legit until I had spoken to Brandon at Upstate. When we bought the boat we really didn’t talk about the giveaway so I didn’t know we had been entered.”
