(August 21, 2026) Canandaigua, NY- Day one of the inaugural Centurion I ❤️ Surf Classic, presented by Canandaigua Boatworks, went off with a bang. The beautiful day on Canandaigua Lake was the perfect setting for riders from across the country to get out and throw their best tricks.

Pulled by the newly unveiled 2027 Centurion RS245, the new official tow boat of the World Series of Wake Surfing and World Wake Surfing Championship, competitors threw down their best tricks and posted impressive scores on day one. In the Pro Women Surf division, Team Centurion athlete, Kaelyn Hellemn earned the second highest score of the day! Liza Rybak of Germany finished first and Kahla Archibald finished with the third highest score of the day.

In the first heat of the Pro Men Surf Division, Team Centurion athletes Tyler Stewart, Tommy Darnell and Sammy Goncalves earned the top three scores of the day. The three Centurion athletes threw down their best tricks advancing them to the next round of competition.

Team Centurion athlete, Ava Stewart dominated day one with the highest score in the Pro Women Skim division. Her and her teammate, Kaelyn Hellemn, who earned the third highest score in the division, clinched a spot in the final round of competition.

In the last division of the day, Pro Men Skim brought the heat. Team Centurion athlete, Tyler Stewart walked away with the highest score in the division for the day. Way to go, Tyler!
