Foiling, for Grant, is the purest blend of calm and intensity he’s ever found in movement over water. It’s technical. It’s fragile. It demands discipline and it rewards presence. One degree off and you pay for it. One breath too shallow and you lose the line. But when it’s right, it’s like floating through a dream with your best friends cheering from the boat. You don’t just ride the wave, you fly with it. It’s silent and loud at the same time. And he never stops being amazed that this is a real thing we get to do.

Grant also carries a deep sense of gratitude into every session because he knows how quickly life can change. He doesn’t take movement for granted. He doesn’t take community for granted and he definitely doesn’t take sunrise/sunset wave for granted.
