Turner “T-Dog” Gebers began his competitive wake surfing journey at just 9 years old, and his rise to the professional level has been nothing short of meteoric. At 13, he won the 2020 Men’s Amateur Surf World Wake Surfing Championship. Two years later, in only his second season at the semi-pro level, he finished as the World Wakesurfing Championship runner-up before turning professional at 15.

In 2023, Turner joined Centurion Boats as a team rider, surfing behind and Ri245. The following year he became a team rider for Kanuk Board Co. He capped off the 2024 season with a 7th-place finish in the World Series of Wake Surfing Tour.

This fall, Turner will be attending Arizona State University while continuing to train in warm-weather conditions. His ultimate goal it to one day win a World Wake Surfing Championship title in the Men’s Pro Surf division.

Wake Surfing runs deep in the Gebers family. His dad, Wade, and stepmom, Kari, were longtime competitors and share Turner’s passion for the sport. They love spending hours on the water with him and traveling to his competitions to cheer him on.

Outside of wake surfing, Turner enjoys working out, golfing, and snowboarding.
