Choosing boat colors is like choosing house colors – you’re likely going to live with your choices for a while.

From gelcoat to Gatorstep and interior vinyl, there are lots of decisions to be made. With almost a billion color combinations available for your custom boat, we realize virtually unlimited options can be intimidating. Our goal is to make designing your boat fun.

People choose colors for many reasons and in many ways. It shouldn’t be a chore, though. Based on our experience, we have broken down the process into manageable steps to guide you to find the perfect color combination to make your boat exactly what you want.

Step 1

Find your color boss

Someone in your family or inner circle is your design guru-the person you go to for confirmation you have made the right choice when it comes to style and color, the person who is the tiebreaker when there is a decision stalemate, the person with the most passionate opinion. Identify that person and trust them to make the final decision.

Step 2

What's your Inspiration

Do you want to match the colors of your tow vehicle? Do you want to use the colors of your favorite sports team? Are you thinking of resale? We can tell you what colors are on trend. Do you prefer classic tones, a vintage look, a bold and bright statement? Perhaps you have seen a color you like at a boat show or marina. Maybe you’re inspired by your local landscape. There are many ways to approach color choices but talking through your inspiration with your family and your color boss is a great way to narrow the options.

Step 3

We have the tools to assist you

It doesn’t matter if you can’t visualize. We have tools for that. From our AI colorizer that creates a virtual copy of your boat (and even lets you see it in your driveway), to color samples, to a factory tour, we offer multiple ways to help you see exactly what your boat will look like. Once you have narrowed your choices it’s time to visualize.

Take a personal or virtual online tour

We’re happy to arrange a factory tour, where we typically have a couple of dozen boats in process at any given point in time. If you can’t get to our factory, we will set up a virtual meeting and walk you through the factory remotely. We really do want you to have fun making your choices and we would love to help you along the way. Your boat is uniquely yours because we are custom boat builders. We won’t even start your boat until you place your order. Let us help you finalize your choices to get exactly the boat you want.
