(April 10, 2026) Peoria, AZ- Day 1 of the Wild West Wake Surf Shootout presented by Centurion Boats and Century Marine went off with a bang! Seventy-one wake surfers traveled in from across the country competing for a top score on day 1 of the event. Towed by a 2026 Centurion Ri245, the competitors at the Wild West Wake Surf Shootout kicked-off the 2026 season with impressive scores after throwing advanced tricks behind the most sold 24 foot boat in the industry.
The conditions at Lake Pleasant were primed for amazing competition on the first day of the Centurion WSWS Wild West Shootout hosted by Century Marine. The leaders going into the finals on Saturday reflect that high level of competition. Jen Boctor, returning to WSWS competition after a 7-year hiatus, earned the LEADER bib in Open Women’s Surf. Victoria Moroski, the newest Team Centurion member, edged out her division mates to wear the LEADER jersey in Open Women’s Skim. Brynlee Hall and Keenan Flegel will be wearing LEADER bibs for Pro Women’s Surf and Pro Men’s Surf. Whitley Stewart and Jett Lambert are sporting the LEADER bib for Pro Women’s Skim and Pro Men’s Skim. Two extremely competitive divisions are actually new to the Centurion World Series of Wakesurfing. Amateur Women’s Wakesurf 50+ and Amateur Men’s Wakesurf 50+ were added for 2026 and these two divisions were some of the most contested. Kristen Revell and Keith Pohl are both wearing the LEADER jersey for Saturdays finals.
