(July 11, 2025) Johnson City, TN- Day 1 of the Volunteer Wake Surf Classic presented by CBK Watersports and Centurion Boats kicked off on Friday, July 11! Wake Surfers from across the globe traveled to Johnson City, TN to compete for a top score on day 1 of the event. Towed by a 2025 Centurion Ri230, the competitors at the Volunteer Wake Surf Classic posted high scores after showing off their best tricks behind this World Wake Surfing Championship boat.
In the Pro Female Skim division, Whitley Stewart, Team Centurion rider posted an absolutely impressive score of 90! Her teammate Kaelyn Hellemn followed her with the second highest score in the division for day 1. Great job, ladies!
Luke Hutcherson, Team Centurion rider, had a huge day in the Pro Male Skim division taking the top score after an absolutely incredible run. Way to go Luke! If this division wasn’t already impressive enough, his teammates, Cade Lybeck and Keenan Flegal also competed in the division and rode extremely well.
Moving over to the Pro Female Surf division, Kenzie Hickey, Team Centurion rider took home the high score of the day! She was followed by Liza Rybak of Germany who took second on day 1 and Reece Johnson who took home third.
The stacked Pro Male Surf Division brought the heat on day 1! Keenan Flegal, Team Centurion rider, took home the high score of the day with a 90.3. He was followed by Tripp Allen, and his teammate, Sammy Goncalves. Team Centurion riders, JRob Terry and Jake Breedlove also threw some amazing tricks on day 1.
