(December 13, 2024) Merced, CA— Knot on Call, a California-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders, presented the Centurion Boats leadership team with a signed flag on Friday, December 13, 2024. The flag, signed by first responders who participated in Knot on Call’s 2024 events, symbolizes the organization’s gratitude and shared mission of giving back.

Derek Carlson and Mike O’Grady, founders of Knot on Call, established the nonprofit to assist individuals injured in the line of duty or struggling with PTSD by offering them a day of surfing and relaxation on the water.

The presentation took place outside the Centurion factory, beneath the iconic warrior statue on Grogan Avenue in Merced, California. During the ceremony, Derek Carlson and Social Media Manager Jenna Leseberg expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Centurion leadership team.

“Thank you and the rest of the team at Centurion for all of your support this year,” Carlson said. “Things are only getting bigger and better from here!”

The Centurion & Supreme Boats Leadership Team will present the signed service flag to the entire factory family on Friday, December 20, 2024 during the annual Christmas lunch.

“We are so honored to be able to partner with Knot on Call in their efforts to make life better for the men and women who preserve our way of life,” said Amy Mauzy, Centurion’s VP of Marketing and Brand Direction. “This incredible gift is an amazing example for our entire factory that we make much more than boats here.”

Knot on Call is gearing up for an exciting 2025 with two new Centurion Fes that will be in production early next year, which will enhance their ability to serve veterans, nurses, and first responders.
