(February 27, 2026) Olympic Valley, CA— Centurion & Supreme Boats Team Manager, Ken Scribner, earned a 2026 WSIA Leadership Award at the 2026 WSIA Summit. Each year, the Leadership Awards honor those who go above and beyond the call of duty in the watersports industry.
Ken was nominated by Justin Jones, Principal CEO at SewLong Custom Covers, for being a cornerstone of the wakesurfing and watersports community. Commonly recognized as one of the best drivers in wakesurfing, Ken volunteered as a driver for the World Series of Wake Surfing (WSWS) more than a decade before joining the Centurion & Supreme Boats team fulltime as theTeam Manager and WSWS Event Director.
Ken’s introduction to the World Series of Wake Surfing began more than a decade ago when his son, Jarrett Scribner, started competing as a professional wake surfer. In 2018, Jarrett was invited to join Centurion Boats as a Pro Team rider. Even after Jarrett retired from professional wake surfing, Ken continued to show up and give back helping with WSWS events, setting up, breaking down, and towing riders.
Always the first to arrive and last to leave every WSWS wake surf competition, Ken ensures each event site is set up, organized, and ready to operate smoothly. Beyond logistics, he is consistently present for every rider, offering support and ensuring they have the best experience both on and off the water. Whether riders are seasoned veterans or brand new to the sport, Ken makes them and their families feel welcomed and cared for.
WSIA promotes #PassTheHandle and Wake Responsibly, and Ken exemplifies both year round. Whether he’s towing a surf competition, taking new riders out, or introducing boating newcomers to the world of watersports, Ken continues to #PassTheHandle and share his love for the water.
“We are so blessed to have Ken as our Team Manager and WSWS Event Director at Centurion & Supreme Boats. But, I think we are even more fortunate to have witnessed his many selfless contributions to the marine industry over the last decade. He always makes himself available to pull our heroes at Centurion Salute to Service events as well as help with any other effort we make to give back,” says Amy Mauzy, Vice President of Marketing and Brand Direction at Centurion & Supreme Boats.
Ken also embodies one of our core Correct Craft values: making lives better. He lives this out in many ways, including his involvement with Operation Wake Surf (OWS) and Operation Get Out (OGO). Through OWS, Ken donates his time and support to first responders and service members by giving them meaningful experiences on the water. With OGO, Ken helps prepare equipment and drive boats, creating a safe, empowering, and uplifting environment for women on the water.
Centurion & Supreme Boats is proud to announce Ken Scribner as the 2026 WSIA Leadership Award recipient and even more proud to have him as part of our team. Congratulations, Ken!
