(October 2, 2026) Winter Haven, FL- Day 2 of the Centurion World Wake Surfing Championship presented by GM Marine brought the Florida heat and secured spots in finals! The sunny day set the perfect stage for the semi-final and last chance qualifier rounds. Competitors gave it their all behind the 2027 Centurion RS245, the official towboat of the World Series of Wake Surfing and World Wake Surfing Championship.

In the last chance qualifier (LCQ) in the Pro Male Surf division, Team Centurion athlete, Keenan Flegel, earned a score of 90 clinching his spot in the final round of competition. Also headed to finals in the Pro Male Skim division is Team Centurion athlete, Luke Hutcherson who had an impressive run in the LCQ round.

In the Pro Female Skim semi-final round, Team Centurion athletes, Whitley Roberts and Kaelyn Hellemn earned the second and third highest scores of the day, following Emma Galusha. Centurion rider, Ava Stewart, will advance to the final round of competition alongside them.

In the Pro Female Surf LCQ round, Team Centurion athlete, Cali Nance claimed the top spot in finals by earning the highest score in her division. Kahla Archibald earned the second highest score also taking her to finals.

In the Pro Male Skim LCQ round, Team Centurion athletes, Luke Hutcherson and Sean Silveira punched their tickets to finals taking the top two scores of the division. Luke and Sean threw their best tricks dominating the division. Way to go!

Owners Reunion Awards

The day 2 fun continued on Friday evening in downtown Winter Haven as Centurion Boats hosted the Centurion Boat Owners Reunion Awards. This is the second year the Owners Reunion has been held in conjunction with the World Wake Surfing Championship bringing together Centurion owners from across the country. The awards ceremony gifted owners with a Grizzly cooler that will come with a custom GatorStep that matches the inside of their boat!

Most Centurions Owned: Nicole Hudson with 14 Centurion boats owned
Traveled Farthest: Marichele DeTrempe traveled 2,881 miles from California
Pass the Handle: The Cawley Family in recognition for their “Wake the Lake” coaching program. They host open surf nights one night a week to give people the opportunity to learn about the sport and experience the fun behind a Centurion Boat.
