(July 17, 2026) Fort Worth, TX- Day one of the inaugural Centurion Cowtown Wake Fest, presented by BoardCo DFW, was an excellent start to the competition on Marine Creek Lake. A cloudy day didn’t stop competitors from across the country from getting out on the water and giving it their all.

Pulled by the newly unveiled 2027 Centurion RS245, the new official tow boat of the World Series of Wake Surfing and World Wake Surfing Championship, competitors threw down their best tricks and posted impressive scores on day one. Team Centurion athletes Brynlee Hall, Bostyn Hall and Kenzie Hickey dominated day 1 posting incredible scores. These ladies earned the first, second and third highest scores of the day. Awesome job ladies!

In the first heat of the Pro Men Surf Division, Team Centurion athletes Sammy Goncalves and Jake Breedlove earned the top scores clinching a spot in the final round! Their teammates in the second heat, Keenan Flegel and Tripp Allen had the top scores punching their ticket to finals as well. Cobe Matthews and Team Centurion athletes JRob Terry, Dylan Ayala and Tommy Darnell will compete in the Pro Men Surf LCQ round for a chance at a spot in the final round of competition.

In the Pro Men Foil Straps division, Team Centurion athlete, JB O’Neill made his WSWS debut earning the second highest score in the division. Known for his wakeboarding skills, JB is bringing his new talent to the WSWS stage.

Team Centurion athlete, Whitney Roberts dominated day one with the highest score in the Pro Women Skim division. Her and her teammate, Kaelyn Hellemn, who earned the third highest score in the division, clinched a spot in the final round of competition.

In the last division of the day, Pro Men Skim brought the Texas heat. Team Centurion athletes Sean Silveira and Luke Hutcherson walked away with the second and third highest scores in the division.
