Merced, CA (June 22, 2022) — Centurion Boats could not be prouder to announce our 2022 Centurion Ri230 has been named the Official Towboat of the International Waterski & Wakeboard Foundation (IWWF) 2022 World Wakeboard Championships, to be held in Rieti, Italy, July 25-30th.

The Ri230 is the smallest of Centurion’s Ri series but has made a huge splash with its introduction because this 23-foot boat on its Opti-V hull generates incredible waves and wakes that defy its compact size.

With 20 degrees of dead-rise at the transom the Opti-V Hull displaces more water with less weight while preserving a great rough water ride and creating killer wakes. Centurion engineers have added several lake life-improving refinements to the Ri230 for as many as 14 people. The 2022 Centurion Ri230 includes Centurion’s Remote Engagement Continuous Optimization Network (RECON) telematics by Osmosis, Lay-flat Sun Pad Lounge Seats, Revo 12-inch by 12-inch side by side touch screens, all new available RAMFILL2 or as we call it the “Baller” ballast system, the available Range of View (ROV) bow to stern camera system with live fuel usage data, and the available Centurion Shift Thruster System by CMI.

Lago del Salto is an ideal venue to demonstrate the capabilities of the Ri230 and show off the skills of the world’s best wakeboarders. This reservoir created by a hydro-electric dam offers controlled water levels and ideal conditions for wakeboarding and has been the venue for multiple European championships.
