(March 7, 2025) Merced, CA— Pro wakeboarder, Shaun Murray, took the all-new 2025 Centurion Ri245 for a test ride, putting its industry leading performance to the ultimate challenge. As a four-time World Champion and one of the most respected names in watersports, Shaun is embarking on a new series where he test drives boats across the industry and Centurion’s latest Ri245 did not disappoint.
In two videos, Murray tested the ins and outs of the Ri245, literally. With one video dedicated to the interior and driving experience and the other focusing on the exterior, Shaun goes through every feature of this massive boat. From the Predator Power Tower to the lean back seats on the sun pad, Murray highlights the function and comfort that the 2025 Centurion Ri245 has to offer.
“This tower is sick, watch how fast it goes down.” Murray says of the Predator Power Tower. “The bimini is massive, I love that. But these tower speakers, they’ve got lighting on both sides they look pretty sick and the Centurion emblem on there. But look how nice and low this tucks and that actually happens very quickly!”
Inside, the Ri245 doesn’t just focus on performance, it’s built for comfort and functionality. To see if our infamous surf wave length lived up to the hype, Murray brought out a measuring tape. The surf wave of an Ri245 measured 22 feet. The length of the wave and the power of the boat provided an energetic wave for Murray to surf behind. While trying out the waves on his foil, Shaun found himself as far as 6 waves behind the boat with enough energy and power from the waves to cruise.
“The Ri245 has one of the best wake surf waves I’ve ever been on the face of the height, the length, the shape. So many great things about it.” Shaun says after surfing behind the 24.5 foot boat.
