(January 6, 2025) Billings, MT—Centurion & Supreme Boats dealership, Montana Wake, held a grand opening event on December 21, 2024 that was more than just a celebration of a new dealership, it showcased the power of community. Hosted by owner Nate Romain and his team, the event brought together local businesses, enthusiasts, and families to celebrate the vibrant boating lifestyle that unites them all while enjoying the brand-new dealership space.

Nate Romain, owner of Montana Wake, shared his vision for the event: “We didn’t want this to just be about showing our boats. It was about creating a space where like-minded people in our community could come together, share their expertise, and celebrate the lifestyle we all love. Everyone brought something to the table, from local businesses in Billings to partners like Phase 5 and Roswell to name a couple. It’s amazing to see the puzzle pieces come together to form such a supportive and enthusiastic community.”

The event included live giveaways and contributions from numerous partners. Attendees enjoyed an open bar hosted by Lithia Dodge, entered to win Denver Broncos tickets, and participated in lessons with Centurion & Supreme professional wake surfer Cade Lybeck. The event also featured exclusive promotions, such as Flathead Lake Luxury Lodging’s offer of a two-night stay with the purchase of a new Centurion boat.

More than 300 people were in attendance at the grand opening event in Billings, Montana. From community members to customers and business owners to Centurion & Supreme athletes, the grand opening hosted a range of people who came together to support this growing business. The event also included the sale of a 2025 Ri245 and a ton of new leads from excited new customers.

Gerry Oppliger, Centurion & Supreme Boats Western Sales Manager, praised Nate’s efforts, saying, “Nate’s enthusiasm for life and his ability to bring people together is incredible. This event wasn’t just about boats; it was about celebrating the community and the shared passion for the water. With the new facility and the amazing team he’s built, Montana Wake is set to become a hub for boating in the Billings area.”

Montana Wake began as a Facebook group where boating enthusiasts could share tips, tricks, and stories about boating. It evolved into the dealership it is today that prioritizes relationships and a love for the water over sales quotas. “Everything in our shop is something we love and use,” Nate explained. “We partner with companies and reps we respect, and that care shines through in everything we do.”

Nate’s journey with Centurion and Supreme Boats began as a customer. His personal experience with the brand, including countless hours on the water with his family, cemented his belief in the quality and community focus that Centurion and Supreme Boats has. “Centurion Boats are still my favorite on the water,” he said. “It’s been incredible to show people why we love these boats.”

The success of Montana Wake is a team effort. Nate’s wife, Lindsay, plays a pivotal role in operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Other key team members include his nephew, who manages marketing and design, and JJ, the service manager who helps plan daily operations. “When you have a full circle of help, success happens,” Nate said.
