(October 26, 2024) Napa, CA – The first competition of the 2025 wake surfing season is in the books. The Cali Comp Festival hosted by Kristen Revell and LIG Rentals, welcomed 40 riders from across the country who left it all out on the water of Lake Berryessa. Towed by a 2025 Centurion Ri265, the Cali Comp Festival awarded a new class of champions in Napa, CA, on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Congratulations to all for an incredible weekend of wake surfing and camaraderie.
Joining the Professional Female Surf division for the first time, Centurion athletes Brynlee Hall and Kenzie Hickey made an impressive debut! Brynlee took the top podium spot with an outstanding final score of 200 points, while Kenzie captured a well-deserved second place right alongside her. Joining the two Centurion athletes on the podium was Sunwha Kim. Congratulations on an incredible weekend, ladies!
The Masters Male Skim division was fierce, with Centurion team athlete Adam Wheeler claiming first place. Keith Byers, owner of LIG Rentals and event sponsor, secured second place, followed by Kenneth Ferrante in third. Great work from all these talented athletes!
Tommy Darnell was on fire this weekend after bringing in the top score in each of his heats, earning him the number one spot on the podium. The California native was joined by Marcus Montgomery and Cobe Matthews on the podium in second and third place.
