For many, A Day to Remember can be an important step in a healing journey.
Nashville, TN (July 29, 2020) – Last week Centurion Boats was proud to be a part of In His Wakes – A Day to Remember Nashville. In His Wakes is an organization dedicated to ministry through water sports with powerful interactive events such as A Day to Remember. For A Day to Remember Nashville In His Wakes partners with Mercy Ministries, a local nonprofit Christian organization that equips people to live free through Christ, to create an intentional experience built to be a day that participants will remember forever. While anyone can give people a fun day at the lake In His Wakes strives to create long term positive change from the experience through community and fellowship. This event serves a population of women dealing with various forms of trauma as they endeavor on a healing journey through the Mercy Ministries one-year residential counseling program.
This year’s event saw fifteen women take to the Cumberland River in five different boats for a day of tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, zupboarding, and more! The watersports action provides an opportunity for personal achievement and intentional community building while together on the water. At the end of the day the event ends with the group coming together to share experiences with one another, be it a personal victory from the day or an intimate moment from their own life experience.
In His Wakes – A Day to Remember Nashville is another example of how individuals are waking waves of positive change with their boats across the country. As a Correct Craft company, we are called to the path of ‘Making Life Better’ and we strive to exemplify that phrase at every opportunity. We want to answer that call by waking waves of positive change in ourselves, our families, our communities, and our world with our boats on or near the water. It could be as simple and seemingly small as teaching your child to wake surf or showing your significant other how to trailer a boat or as big as hosting an event that honors our service men and women. What’s Your Wave? How are you using your Centurion on, near, or relating to water to wake waves of positive change? We wake waves. Do you? Share your wave with us on social media using the hashtag #WeWakeWaves.
