(July 17, 2025) Merced, CA – This week is Pass The Handle weel and Centurion Boats encourages you to get someone new out on the water. Pass The Handle is an initiative that started over a decade ago by pro wakeboarders, Shaun Murray and Zane Schwenk. Eleven years later, boating enthusiasts all over the world are passing the handle.
The WSIA has worked year after year to make Pass The Handle “bigger and better” encouraging new organizations, athletes, families and even celebrities to join in on the fun. The idea behind Pass The Handle is simple: take friends, family or someone new, out on the water to introduce them to the watersports lifestyle we all know and love.
Team Centurion athletes across the country have participated in Pass The Handle sharing the stoke with new friends.
“I love bringing new people out on the boat for the new experiences they get to have; it brings families together and that’s what it’s all about! Participating in Pass The Handle is a pleasure, seeing new riders get to experience the best feeling in the world puts a smile on their face and mine,” Team Centurion athlete, Sean Silveira shares.
