It is the time of year to be thankful. This year, we are thankful for our network of dealers who go above and beyond for their customers.
Matt Manzari, wake skating athlete and ambassador for Centurion and Supreme Boats, is making waves with his team at 7 Watersports in Groveland, Florida. Matt’s journey into the boat dealership began with a desire to serve others. What started as a simple initiative to get a boat for community events eventually led to him becoming a full-fledged dealer. Now, at 7 Watersports, Matt and his team offer a special, exceptional customer experience that goes beyond the sale.
One of the most unique customer experiences that set 7 Watersports apart, is the gift they give their customers who build and purchase a custom Centurion boat: a custom-painted R/C Centurion boat matching the real thing, a concept born from the creative mind of Service Manager, Brock Arte. Inspired by a personal project—painting an R/C Centurion boat for his father-in-law—Brock envisioned offering this service to customers who order custom Centurion boats, particularly the popular Ri230 model.
“Having a great reputation is important to us but offering the custom-painted R/C boat is just the icing on the cake,” says Brock. “We try to go the extra mile to give our customers the best experience possible.”
The idea took root when the team noticed that other dealers would give gifts of appreciation to their customers. Brock takes great pride in making these custom painted R/C boats by meticulously unboxing the R/C boats, painting them to match the customer’s custom order, and then carefully re-boxing them to present as a surprise gift.
“Customers trust us when making the large purchase of their boat. The least we can do is give back to them in this way,” says Matt Manzari.
The personal touch has resonated with customers, turning a simple gift into a cherished keepsake. For example, David Baxter, who recently purchased a Ri230, proudly displays his custom-painted R/C Centurion in his trophy room. Another customer, Andrew Berland, and his family enjoy spending days on the lake playing with their R/C Centurion boat while surfing behind the real one.
Each time Matt, Brock, and the 7 Watersports team present an R/C boat to a customer, it’s a complete surprise. “It’s nice to give our customers that wow factor and be able to share something special with them,” says Matt. “We want the people we serve to know that we value them and that they are part of the dealership family now.”
Through these thoughtful gestures and a commitment to excellence, 7 Watersports continues to make a lasting impact on their customers, ensuring that the experience of owning a boat is as memorable as the adventures that come with it.
7 Watersports has recently merged with and are now one with Regal & Nautique of Orlando and are continuing to provide quality customer service with the original 7 Watersports team. Stop by the dealership where the team you know and love are eager to help you!
