(February 9, 2026) Camas, WA– For Thinh Pham and his family, boating has always been about time together. What started years ago on different boat brands eventually led them into the world of wake surfing, almost by accident, when they climbed into a Supreme S238 at the Portland Boat Show in 2019.
“We didn’t know anything about wake boat brands,” Thinh shared. “But my wife and kids climbed into the S238 and we fell in love instantly.”
His daughter Kennedy, five years old at the time, made herself right at home, even telling other attendees to get out of her boat. That moment sparked a relationship with Pat and the team at Northwest Boat Sports, and before they knew it, the Pham family was officially part of the Supreme family.
The S238 quickly became the centerpiece of their summers. From big annual trips to Shasta and Coeur d’Alene to long days spent surfing, eating, and heading back out until sunset, the boat became a place where memories were made. Thinh’s oldest child learned to surf behind their Supreme, while their youngest found the confidence to ride just last year.
“My coworkers know; don’t interrupt my summer,” Thinh laughed. “Weekends are for my family on the water.”
As their warranty period came to an end and their family continued to grow, the Phams naturally began thinking about upgrading. When they returned to the boat show “just to look,” they found themselves drawn straight back to the Northwest Boat Sports booth, this time to the Centurion Nv243.
“The color pulled us in first,” Thinh said. “It wasn’t loud or flashy, just clean. Then you notice the body lines, the pickle fork, the DropZone Tower, there’s a reason people go to Centurion.”
What sealed the decision, however, went far beyond the boat itself. Sitting down with Amy Mauzy from the Centurion Factory, Thinh found himself having an unhurried, genuine conversation.
“She answered every question and asked me questions back. You could tell she truly loves the product,” he said. “At that point, I knew no matter what we’d always be a Supreme and Centurion family.”
Since purchasing their Nv243, Thinh, Jessica and their daughters Bethany, Kennedy and Brynnley have felt the difference in the details: the new hull and ballast technology, the intuitive touchscreen, increased comfort, thoughtful storage, and user-focused design touches throughout the dash system.
“You can tell this is a manufacturer that really pays attention to the end user,” Thinh added.
Looking back, Thinh describes their journey with Supreme as foundational and their move to Centurion as a natural evolution.
“Boating forces us to disconnect and be together,” he said. “Our kids want to invite friends, try new things, and just be present. That’s what this is all about.”
For families debating between brands or considering a similar upgrade, Thinh keeps it simple: “Meet the people who are going to take care of you. With Supreme and Centurion, you’re always in good hands. My end goal was always Centurion and now we’re stoked to be here.”
