(October 2, 2025) Winter Haven, FL- Day 1 of the World Wake Surfing Championships presented by GM Marine and Centurion Boats went off with a bang! Rain and lightning may have delayed the competition for a while, but that didn’t stop competitors from bringing the heat. Towed by a 2026 Centurion Ri230, the competitors at WWSC threw their best tricks hoping to clinch a spot in semi-final and final rounds.

In the Pro Female Skim division, Team Centurion athlete, Whitley Stewart, earned the second highest score of the day punching her ticket to the next round of competition. In the Pro Male Skim division, Heat #1 brought the heat as Team Centurion athletes, Sean Silveria, Tyler Stewart, and Luke Hutcherson earned the top spots in their heat. Way to go!

The Pro Female Surf Division brought major heat as six competitors representing the United States, Japan and Korea all threw their best tricks behind the 2026 Ri230. Team Centurion athlete, Brynlee Hall dominated her division taking home the highest score of the day. All six ladies, including Team Centurion athletes, Kenzie Hickey and Cali Nance, will compete in the final round of competition on Saturday, October 4.

In the Pro Men Surf division, Team Centurion athletes, Sammy Goncalves and Tyler Stewart took home the top scores in their heat with Stewart having the overall high score in the division. Both riders earning their spot in finals. Another Team Centurion athlete competing in the Pro Men Surf division is Tommy Darnell. Way to go Team Centurion!
