2019 dealer meeting filled with learning and fun.
San Diego, CA (November 2019) – The 2019 Centurion Boats dealer meeting took place this week on Monday 11/11 and Tuesday 11/12 in San Diego, CA. Centurion Boats dealers were given the opportunity to learn, network, and prepare for the rest of the 2020 model year. This year 49 dealerships were present bringing 226 attendees with them.
This year’s dealer meeting had two parts to each day, the morning was filled with an informational main session where members of the Centurion Boats team educated and informed dealers about new models, product changes, and other key efforts for the brand. Additionally, during the main session, Sam Dantzler and Neil Pascale from Garage Composites discussed how to grow and expand as a dealership while Kevin Michael from WSIA drove home the message of ‘wake responsibly’ to preserve the vitality of wake sports for years to come. The second part of each day was filled with department specific breakout sessions. Dealers attended smaller interactive classes with Centurion team representatives to get specific education and updates regarding each department’s new efforts.
Paul Singer, President of Centurion Boats, had this to say, “The participation and excitement at this year’s dealer meeting was unparalleled to years in the past. Each session room was full as valuable conversations echoed through the halls. You can really feel a sense of something building, the success and growth we experienced this year as a company has created a momentum that our dealers and team are ready to capitalize on. We’re very excited to see what the future holds for our brand.”
Although it wasn’t all work at the 2019 Dealer Meeting, after sessions ended on night one many dealers and attendees gathered at the main conference hall for a spirited round of ‘Dealer Feud’, sponsored by GatorStep and hosted by Dano the Mano. ‘Dealer Feud’ is a ‘Family Feud’ inspired game night where teams were quizzed on a variety of topics from watersports and industry knowledge to pop culture trivia. Furthermore, at the end of the second day attendees gathered in the main conference hall again for a closing banquet, sponsored by Extreme Custom Trailers and Roswell Marine, and awards, sponsored by GatorStep, Wet Sounds, and Nice Rack. Awards honored the most notable dealers, vendors, and achievements from the previous season. We congratulate all award recipients listed below.
