WAKESURFER

I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I have one younger sister named Kassidy and a dog named Tigha. I have the best parents in the world! When I was twelve, my parents bought a cabin on a lake in British Columbia. Ever since, we have spent the entire months of July and August at the cabin. I have always loved watersports. I started out on a kneeboard, then tried wakeboarding and waterskiing and finally found my greatest passion in wakesurfing. In 2011, I decided to take wakesurfing to the next level and entered in my first competition. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I have met so many cool people and been to places I never would have gone to, like Parker, Arizona. Outside of wakesurfing, I recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a degree in both Management and Kinesiology. Currently, I am working towards certification as an Exercise Physiologist. In my spare time, I coach middle school girls’ basketball. I used to be a player myself back in junior and senior high school. During the long winter months we have in Canada while I patiently wait until I can get back onthe water, I do enjoy playing in the snow, going snowboarding and sledding and skating on our frozen lake. I believe that life is so short that it is a mistake not to follow your dreams and see where they take you. It`s better to make mistakes, than live a life full of regret that you didn`t try. Nothing deserves 100% of your time, but everything you do deserves 100% of your effort.

Why do you Ride Centurion?
If you want to be the best, why not train on the best boats in the industry? Some of the features that I just love about Centurion are their Deep-V Hull, the HUGE wave like no other boat can create, and the rider profiles that allow you to set the ballast, speed and your entire rider set-up at the touch of abutton and save your settings so you can consistently get the perfect wave every time. I have been
riding behind a Centurion since we bought our first tournament boat in 2003 and have never found a reason to try any other boat.

Sponsors
Centurion Boats, Phase 5 Wakesurf Boards, Sport Science Institute & My Dad (Hehe)

Biggest accomplishment
My biggest accomplishment would probably be my sponsorship by the #1 boat company in wakesurfing and Phase 5. I could not have dreamed of two better companies to work with. To me, being sponsored means that someone else believes in my ability and that is the greatest accomplishment I could ever achieve in this sport.

Home Lake
Rosen Lake, British Columbia

Shout-Outs
I really want to thank my parents and my sister. Without their support and encouragement of me to follow my dreams, I would not be where I am today. They have spent countless hours on the boat with me no matter what. Even in the scorching heat or pouring rain, they have always been my team. I would also like to thank my friends and family who are always there to cheer me on. To my crew at Rosen Lake, you guys are awesome and I know I always have a spotter when I need one. I would also like to thank my sponsors, Centurion Boats and Phase 5 for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of their teams.
